at day-break
the dog watches each bee
fly over the fence
with each
a wag of his tail
and a dream in his eye

awesome imagery. I could really put myself in the dog's paws and imagine his emotions.

Really nice one. AGain, contemplation and, perhaps, a representation of stupefaction.

Very thought-provoking poem...painting a serene and dreamy scene. Very creative work! I liked this very much - just enough said to put a dream in the reader's eye. Well-done Andrew!

if dogs could fly we'd all be watching them frolic in the clouds and dodging thier droppings, I have never been shat on by a bee, but they do you know, we just don't see it, cute poem, the gleam in the eye of the dog at the thought of flighty pursuit, truly a neat write and thought provoking...good work...Artis
