Teacher

Your freezing room greets us every morning,
for homeroom and first period.
With out fail every monday morning,
asking what we did over our two days off.
Then teaching us the most interesting things immaginable,
how to write poetry, how to decode them, even how to write songs.
Then as a reward we were shown movies,
educational none the less, but they were interesting.
In all of my nine years of education,
you are my favorite teacher,
unlike the robotic uncaring teachers,
you cared and still do care about us and how we are doing.
So thank you Mr. Haskell for being there for me, and all of us.

Nice little tribute to Mr. haskell. Although it did read as sort of an essay rather than a poem, but I did like it, good luck, Dave.
