In His Brilliance

Missing image

Awestricken, I am writing in this log,
my mind will explode if I keep it in.
Its awesome beauty I cannot explain,
the vast Space easily makes my head spin.

The colors alone overwhelm my soul,
each moment my journey brings something new.
I pray not to sleep, for too much I'd miss,
there is nothing more splendid than this view.

Here by myself without feeling alone,
the Creator of ALL is here with me.
Showing me His glorious works of art,
in His brilliance, I fall on bended knee.

    Superb Poem!

Samplette, when we look to the night sky and see the heavens in all their glory, how could anyone not see the precision, the order that is there, everything in its place and working the way it should for our benefit. Here in England UK, we do not have the spectacular skies other countries do.. for the last three years I have been travelling to Canada for my vacation, now there is what I call God's Sky. I have never seen so many beautiful, sparkling stars in all my life, I was in awe of it, I saw satalites across the sky (shooting stars) my brother informed me it was a satalite, he is knowledgable on these things, being interested in photography in a serious way, also, his knowledge of the science is much better than mine. The graphic you have chosen for your piece of work is just "ACE" it compliments your poem very well.
You have expressed your emotions in such a way that your reader is left in no doubt as to how you feel about your subject matter.
    I loved reading this!
    hugs ~Katie~

    Sam -
I actually had to smile a bit when I read this. To take a picture such as this in a fantasy contest and manage to work God into it without offending the judge. You are truly remarkable. When ever I see a piture or a sky or a scene that just wow's me I cal it a "God Shot" because to me that is what it is. Evidence, proof He is here. No man could create such splendor, and neither could randomness.
Anyway enough ramble, thanks for sharing your look at this "God Shot".

    Great reaction well expressed.

    Dear Sam,
You have expressed EXACTLY what I would feel from this picture but in better words than I could have summoned. I wonder though, whether you don't mean the "vastness" of space?
A great work. Applause, Love and Hugs, XXX Hugh.
