Little did I know when I went to your site
Opening up your poems to read one by one.
Read your Author page, was very impressed
Dear Gregg, you had my heart from the start.
Offers of help and advice you give all of us
Friends you have made in such a short time.
Treat everyone the same with your caring ways
Heart of gold, although in distress just for now
Everyone you come in contact with admire you.
Rough times you've had from the start, do you let
It get you down? no my friend you go on writing.
Naughty, but nice, erotica for sure with decore.
Gregg, love you so very much my sweet friend
So back you come until you have your bigger OP.
Get yourself back here now!! hear me loud and clear
Reaching for those nurses, come on now, hands off!
Eye them off yes, but until you recover, no way!
Get your strength back first, then you can play
Goodness me, do I have to tie your hands up!
Right, that's it! you've been warned my friend
Out with the hands, come on now, give them to me.
What am I going to do with you! impossible man!
Enters Joan with the roll of tape in her hand.

He is a wonderful man who has stolen all our hearts, for he has such a big heart himself. Thank you for your comment

This is great - I love the acrostic you've done here.
I think you did a great job incorporating humor and sincere appreciation. He is truly a wonderful man and I really look up to him (as I know so many others do too!).

Great poem for our mutual friend, Gregg. Scared me for a second when I read Nelak's comments in past tense... but I know better. Just a little panic there for a second...whewwwwww!!
We all continue to pray for him, as he is healing. Cheryl -

Gregg is in my prayers. Excellent poem! -
You show such love and admirations for Gregg. And you can tell that it's very real and honest because of the humour that comes across at the end. You were very genuine, and that's what counts.
-
aww.you're so sweet to him.i like the way you made a creative humorous yet, hopeful acrostic.and included his pen name and his author name.i see how much effort went into this and that it was from the heart too.

Beautifully written -very powerful.
Joan,
This is such a powerful piece. I did not know Gregg, or ever read his poems, but he seems like a good man. I will be praying that he gets better and stronger. He just has to. Once he gets healthier and reads this... he will be impressed. You shine the light on all of us with your sweet and heartfelt words, Joan. I have been blessed. Good luck in the contest.
Writing is good for the heart and soul.
Sincerely,
Kalen
BRAVO, JOAN!!!!

Heartfelt and sincere.
Dear Joan,
The four poems you name are all is good (oops, I keep quoting those words of Repomen somehow!) but readers should go even further into the Greggorian corpus which will open up rowe on rowe of glittering poetic and prophetic gems.
Thankyou Angelica for writing these wonderful and heartfelt words as a tribute to our dear mutual friend for whom, I hope, every reader will take a pause to join with us in prayer.
