A Sonnet For Lady Wiccae (M)

Missing image
by Gregg Rowe

Oh My Lady Wiccae, how I love thee
When I was sick, you came to my rescue
Held a contest in my honour, which flew
And still I have yet to send a thank-you

I will roam and kiss thy earth and thy sky
To see you write another word again
If you quit, I surely will miss your pen
For I believe your Muse has not yet end

Don't go into oblivion, please stay
With your words, your mortality will flow
Words of wisdom, love, truth mingled with blood
Pave new poetic works, showing the way

Continue to write, continue to pen
Show us your talent and write us some Zen.

Author notes

I know it may sound corny compared to my other works, but I just wanted to give a boost to Lady so that she might start penning again and because I love her like my sister. Gregg

It's a debate between poetess and poetress, I used the later but was also reprimanded for that one, what do you think is the correct term? Gregg

A very nice tribute to a terrific, talented poetess. Is that a word?... 'poetess'. Thanks too for your kind comments and generous applause on my work.

    Sincerely,

When the heart speaks the fingers flow a write that mystifies the readers. A freind who brings on all of the emotions of this write, is indeed a diamond in the rough. beautiful write.

This is precious, a true gem. A poem penned from the heart, and carries in it a potion derived from the living blood. What a marvelous write.

so good to see you back online and writing again gregg
by this, i am assuming the surgery went well and that you are on the mend. guess all the prayers (and your inner strength) worked!
as for this tribute...i read ladywiccae's comment...find it horrific that someone would leave such rude comments to her. we've all had writer's block and we've all had comments that are hurtful...in my eyes, all the more reason to stay and slug it out. as the dylan thomas poem states: "rage, rage against the dying of the light." here is a link to the poem:

wishing both you and lady wiccae peace,

AWWWW Greggy! I love it. But unfortunately I don't know if I can. An unfortunate comment to me "That was the shit that came from my rectum" kinda killed my writing for a while, and i had to look closer and found well..urm..my writing's gone downhill...so..I dont know. I thank you for caring about me and know I'm always here.
