Mr. burrill,
is his name.
But we call him something different,
it makes him go insane!
We call him Liquid Metal Man,
and please do not judge.
He really does look like him,
And on this subject, i will not budge.
My sister used to call him that,
it really is quite funny.
If he were in show business,
He'd earn alot of money.
Oh my gosh, i've forgotten to tell you,
I'll tell you now, not later.
He looks just like Liquid Metal Man,
of a movie called Terminator.
He teaches me the ways of math,
so i dedicate this to him.
For teaching me all this stuff,
and for hoping i am not dim.

Great poem
Good flow and interesting take on the contest.
I still remember all the nicknames for my teachers, and still refer to them by those names when mentioning them to my sisters (who had the same teachers and called them by the same names).
Welcome to Allpoetry and good luck with the contest

LMAO! Great stuff! We had nicknames for all of our teachers too (some meaner than others admittedly!)
Definately brought back some fond memories
Good luck and thanks for entering

Yes Von, he was a bit of a spunk wasn't he, not as nice as this poem though, rhyming is very good, and such an unusual way to look at a maths teacher, good luck, Dave.

Nice rhyming scheme here - as I remember that chap in Terminator wasn't bad looking (as a human)
thanks for your entry, Good Luck and Welcome to AP
