I listen to songs. The music;
it tempers the nuance of my anger.
The way you
saunter; the way you slink. My own
theme-tunes to your life.
Everything about you
resonates happiness.
Matt Bellamy wails, as you mount
a pre-emptive strike,
upon a seemingly killer wasp.
Everything about you is
so easy to love.
From the fabric of your clothes
that I took
from the dryer.
On that Sunday night when
you slipped out
of the laundrette to meet your -- bastard --
boyfriend.
To the way you pick your lip
as you read Tolstoy, hidden away
in the corner of the train. We share
the train: one of the many
things you don’t know that we share.
Everything about you
resonates happiness.
Now I won’t settle
for less.

You make obsession sound appealing. Not that I want to be stalked, but you make me want to be that happy ..you know, that happy that people can tell it even when I'm not smiling. But LOL ...in reference to the theme, the bit about the laundry SHUDDER ....no, I don't want a stalker

whoa! this entirely blew me away it is amazing! "nuance" - i have no clue what the word means, but everything fits so perfect in this poem.

That's my favorite part, sick in a very sweet way. I should be disgusted with your character... but it made me smile
