The light of a small candle

I was going to loose faith in everything beautiful in life
in a  world  full of liars , putting  masks
changing ,them everyday

I was going to loose faith in love
because,of  owls frightening small birds
eating them raw everyday

I was going to loose faith in friends
with  friends
.. harassing friends scaring them ,

then I remembered ,A  Pearl  that kept sparkling , shinning
in the middle of dust , mud ,rain and  crazy waves

I  see
 only
a small,
shimmering light of a candle

its is small now
but  it is  becoming bigger and bigger
enough  to beautify, my whole  world

only a small light
is enough
to beautify my world,

and to see goodness
again in my world

This is beautiful mona.... sometimes small things matter so much in our lives and even a small candle can bright our surroundings....I thought the use of candle metaphorically was amazing...

Beautiful description.what touched me most about this poem was the meaning behind it..like how just a little light is enough to beautify your world.
When you lost faith in somethings like said in the first three verses.
And after that the pearl you mentioned gave the idea of where you were at that time.Even a pearl sparkles in the middle of dust so like that we also can hope...

Oh yes I have to add this to little princess and sunshine and losing faith gives a great counterpoint. Yes.

Yes. Just a small light and the darkness is pushed away. A good poetic burning here that lights up the smiles flickering in eyes.
