Five Romans

Five Romans
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out his Love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.   Romans 5: 3-5 NIV
Suffering
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I cannot bear the road ahead
Another mile, another step
On my feet
Down to my knees before You
I- paralyzed
Have no power to stand alone
Your strength, I will realize.

Perseverance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When the answer is not quickly revealed
Another day, another year
In my mind
Deep in my spirit before You
I- steadfast
Have no choice but to remain
In faith, will ever last.
Character
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When others, lost, see my example
Who I am, who I must be
In my face
Bold blessed belief before me
I- Your voice
Have now grown fruitful and proclaim
In You, I will rejoice.

Hope
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When at last these blind eyes see
Who You are, how You love me
On my path
So assured the way before me
I- truth revealed
Have now Your strength to press ahead
Your will, my future sealed.
    Wow. Great way to expound on the key words of a verse. I loved the form. I loved how you used breaks in the flow to pause the reader. A very good write.
    Wonderful!
    Very impressive! I love how you start off with a bible verse and then go from there. This is very inspirational, and I am glad that I clicked on this one, out of all of the choices, because it really spoke to me today. (kind of bogged down with real life.) Great write!
    I could not have born my life from childhood up were it not for having met Jesus when I was six years old. I choosing to follow Him, and later having been chosen, I have the strength to overcome all things and with Him I can do all things.
    I am very impressed, Theresa, with your writing: especially those giving the glory and praise to our awesome Yeshua and His Christ our Saviour. Even at age 60, I still stand in awe at all He does, the gifts He has given me and the multitude of blessings amidst such world chaos and the thorns in my side.
    Keep up the good work, Sister. God is smiling upon you.
    Love and hugs, BonnieQ
    It's good to see someone still has some kind of faith. While I lack your convictions, I envy your ability to maintain them. Good job.
