My World

My tears slide down my cheeks,
Like the rain when it falls.
I remember those moments,
In the place I called home.

Mountains rising from the sky,
Peaking the clouds above.
Floating so angelicly,
Above my eyes.

I inhale,
And my problems fade away.
The trees dance,
So motionlessly.

All I can hear is the pounding of the music,
And the chanting of their prayers.
As I sit here,
In my dream world.

The people are so amazing,
My second set.
I love them,
Because they are all I have in this home.

Sitting here,
Now in my real home.
My heart aches for my dream world.

Author notes

I just came home from living in Thailand, and everything there is my home. I was there so long I became completly Thai, and I miss it so much. My family, my home...My life.
