Being from So Cal, I don’t get to see all that much snow, unless it gets really cold during the winter and there is snow on the mountains. This gave me such marvelous images that remind me of those times.

This was a true write, I was in Ottawa for New Year's Eve and coming back to Montreal on New Year's day. it rained the night before instead of snowed and the sun was shining as we drove back and the the fields of snow looked like quilted patched from turning to sheets of ice, just impressive and a beautiful sight as you drove down the highway. Thanks for reading my works and commenting. Gregg

This is an excellent example of a Haiku. After reading some of your work, i'm really glued to your inspirational talent. Although I live in England, I used to live in Canada too, and this small powerful write really portrayed the beauty of the land well. Kate

Short and sweet! Just the way I like em'. The imagery of "quilted" snow patches was really neat!
