The Dreamer

The Dreamer

A heart so tender and loving
a touch as gentle as the softest rose
with images to fill your emptiness
living in a world all of your own

The melodies take you places
you've only wished that you could be
and so you sail upon imagination
envisioning wondrous sights to see

With desires to fill the universe
a soul that gives so endlessly
wishes offered unto solemn stars
in hopes of dreams that are yet to be

A soft breeze to wisk you far away
gentle rains to wash your pain
mountains to climb in search of peace
where tranquility forever reigns

The sun will guide you further
walking amidst swift flowing streams
in solitude, you're never alone
for the power is within your dreams

Precious one, you are The Dreamer
and you've claimed my very soul
with all the tenderness you possess
your essence, mine to behold

~PennyLynne~

This is one beautiful heart touching piece - in every way, reaching deeply into the core of being, tantalizing the senses, so delicately... The honesty, is incredible!

I loved reading this piece from start to finish, every part of me reached to feel this tale... Such talent!

Thank the universe for the Dreamers, for they are the ones who really allow the progression of things. If everyone were VIRGOs who always have to be so practical and precise and perfect, we'd have been doomed eons ago!
    Wonderful write!

I thought surely I had already commented on this, but apparently not LOL No need for changes and I'm glad you did post it. I read this a couple different ways. To me it holds special and personal meaning because sometimes it's ONLY in our dreams that we can go beyond the boundaries that we've been given. Either way, it is beautifully expressed, soft and took me to a serene place of hope. The imagery created is top-notch. I kinda got goose bumps when reading it the second time Thanks for sharing your beautiful talent...

Hi Penny, I think this is great just as it is, and that you don't really need to change it at all. You are a great poetess my friend; just keep up the good work so we can enjoy more.

Gypsy, thank you ever so much for your kind words and for always dropping by ..I really do appreciate you taking the time ..and, this is a cryptic message but, it can also be read several ways..maybe for the Dreamer that's in all of us, and may it's essence never wane

    A Must Read - Marvelous!

This is gorgeous hun! Did you write this for your grand daughter or a younger woman? Just curious because of the visions I am getting as I read it...or perhaps to the younger version of you that you turn to in times of need to bring a smile to your face and inner strength? Either way, you know me...I'm strange. It's just the images were so clear to me as I read them...anyway, I really enjoyed the imagery in this as well as the beauty of your words. A magnifient write as usual my friend. Hugs and blessings , Gypsy
