When I'm in the laundry I miss you;
Can't wait till I'm back, then I'll kiss you.
I cry in the washing machine;
In the water my tears can't be seen.
As I hang on the line, still I cry;
Drip,drip fall my tears as I dry.
But soon I'll be back in the drawer,
Happy with you then once more,
And we'll laugh when again I am there,
and we're both folded up in a pair.
- your Mate (can't wait!)

lol This is very good, poor little lonely sock...it isn't ever any fun to be seperated from your companions. What if the evil creatures in the back of the dryer steal the sock before he gets a chance to leave?
Well done!

Thanks! I made most of it up before going to bed last night, and wrote it down and firmed up the details and ironed out the wrinkles in the morning.
