Livin'

You brought a smile to my lips
You gave happiness to my heart
Your presence raised my sunken ships
Your life gave birth to a new start.

Precious to my pursuit, my lady
When I am down you hold me baby
In the palm of your hand is where mine belongs
You make my life worth living and singing in songs

Never forsaken my thoughts that are given
Joyous delight and rapture unknown
My life is you, holding my precious vixen
With you forever I give of my own

Precious to my pursuit, my lady
When I am down you hold me baby
In the palm of your hand is where mine belongs
You make my life worth living and singing in songs

A hearts span I never want to cease
Giving all that is mine to your delight
Knowing no bounds only heartfelt peace
Searching our path in life I keep you in sight

Precious to my pursuit, my lady
When I am down you hold me baby
In the palm of your hand is where mine belongs
You make my life worth living and singing in songs

Charismatic, soothing and romantic
Cherished more than anything other
Sophisticated, grandeur, my fanatic
Devilishly delightful, only my lover

Precious to my pursuit, my lady
When I am down you hold me baby
In the palm of your hand is where mine belongs
You make my life worth living and singing in songs

Precious to my pursuit, my lady
When I am down you hold me baby………

Ah come on now galfalfa, honestly I dont feel real good, I am feeling more like........ELECTRIFYING!!!!!!......hehehehehehe. Dont you go to swinging that rubber chicken around either, you know what that does to me
I do appreciate all your lovely words about this write, perhaps one day I will also write the music to it and send it to a singer or two. Let me just assure you that I cant sing to save my life, so someone else would have to come out with this.....lol. You take care of your crazy self and I shall catch up with you a bit later.

My goodness and he's a songwriter too! Well look at you! Guess you're feeling really good about yourself right about now but don't worry I'm about to change that starting right now.
Hmmmmmm...can't really think of anything at the moment but rest assured I'll come up with something later In the mean time let me say that you did a mighty fine job writing this one - you should be proud...it's a beauty

You are too kind kjack. I really appreciate the great review and hope to have the music to go with this one before too long. I dont know a thing about music except that it plays on the radio but I figure there is a program or two out there that will let anyone play a little music. Thank you once again and take care girl.

I definitely agree with Bohb on this. This is a smash hit. I can't believe that I am completely lost for words now. I know why, I just had to pick my jaw up from the floor. This was amazing. I did love it and the chorus was perfect. I don't think they get any better than this one.

Thanx Queen, but I have another song in mind for the country tune. I have started on it and thought that I would finish it before this one but as fate has turned it out this is the one that I finished first. I dont think I shall be making any money with these writes but I have been wanting to try one just to see how hard they are. I appreiate you stopping and having a look at it. Take care.

Girl I am glad that you enjoyed the lines. I need the music to complete the song now. I was thinking of piano and perhaps a guitar, ah but dont you play the piano? Care to collaborate on a song and provide some music to the lyrics? You have been saying that we needed to start another collab havent you?.....devious grin....lol. Careful what thou wishes for........... Am I close?

Hey Bohb, man thanx for checking me out. Dont know about smashing the charts but I have smashed a few keys on the keyboard, typing that is.....lol. R&B with light strings in the background, nothing heavy I think. One never knows what may come up in the future? Stay tuned.............lol.

    ah yeah very nice

HR You've got an awesome chorus here. The first stanza was like a ton of bricks full of beauty. It is nice to have someone bring smiles to you each day brightening every shadow in your heart that had been thought to be darkened forever. The line about searching our path was thoughtful, showing wonderful possibilities. And ahh, devilishly delightful, that's always fun! I have to bookmark this one not that I don't have many of your others bookmarked but this one touched my heart a bit more than any other I've read of yours. Knocked the socks off me! Now I only have one more request. Take a wild guess what it is? I'll bet you know...Groovy baby! More~ more!
    love aimee jo

    Nicely done Mr. Elvis!

Hot Damn Hammer....you done smashed the charts with this one!

Seriously, this is sweet, loving and I can see it done as maybe smooth R&B or slow country. What'd you have in mind for the piece? I'd be interested to know.

Well done for a lyrical write. Gonna bust loose with some more?
