In the eye of the beholder,
I comprehend what you cannot.
I see something much bolder,
A meaning I haven't been taught.
I see beauty in ivory coated skin.
I watch you grin and steal a kiss.
I feel no remorse, no guilty sin,
All these qualities you tend to miss,
Like your chamelion eyes,
Gazing emerald at my sight.
You awe me with suprise,
I try not to be trite.
When I say 'I love you',
Please take it to the heart.
Never think it to be untrue,
I've known it from the start.
The moment I felt your arms,
Wrapped in a tight embrace.
I smelt your overcoming charms,
Reached up and touched your face.
You tell me that your lucky
to have someone like me.
Even though how clumsy and unlucky
I may sometimes be.
A man and a woman,
No strong bond have I held before.
I'd waste an entire life span,
To be nestled behind your door.
'I love you does that sound trite?',
I whisper in your ear,
Floating in floresent light,
'No, it doesn't dear...'
