I have a deep dark secret,
A secret no one knows,
Kept locked inside of me,
But not forever locked for eternity.
The secret that must be told,
The one I'm afraid to tell,
Is that I love her so,
And I want to spend my life with her.
Today is the day I'll tell her,
How much I love her so,
Does she feel the same way too?
Or will I be rejected from all hope?

All I want is to love you."
She looked at me and smiled,
Kissed me passionately on the lips,
She feels the same way I do,
And we've been lovers ever since!

AHhhh love! I like how you told a little story in this write, it was a nice tale of love....and all the feelings that went along with it were so powerful. The unknown, the fear, the happiness of what could be.... beautifully penned!! I was happy to see in the end, that she returned those feelings to you without hesitation.
This poem flows smoothly, and your free verse writing, is quite refreshing. I think you've penned this one well... it's just an added truth to the statement to not be afraid to go for what you want

i feel in love with a girl once but she turned me down and told me to stay away from her so i did. it just hurt so much. but i am with a really great girl now and it's all gravy!! her name is Ashley T. love the poem don't be afraid to love those of the same gender because they need love to just as much as a straight person does. be yourself and love will guide you down the right path
