Scallywags the lot of them!

A snowman
Stands to attention
In eremitical silence
His tears unseen
As they cut through
like mourning sunbeams

My mood;
Anhydrous copper sulphate
But here is the rain.

    Aye, I think everyone can say they have had an 'anhydrous copper sulphate day.' Sadly, I did understand the meaning of the metaphor, oddly enough because chemistry was not a pleasure for me. Anyways, your piece provokes much thought for the often 'untouched mind.'
    Wonderful writ
    Blessed be

    Thankyou for the comments on my pieces, I have been a bit late in returning the favors, sadly.

    OK, I had to look up Anhydrous Copper Sulphate, and I got the connection between it and your mood. Quite the neat little simile. Chemistry was never something I really got into. I was more into literature, go figure.

    I do like the fact that you used the more intellectual approach to your writing, from what I have read so far. It really gets my brain firing on all cylinders again.

    Very emotional, well done

    I would have to remember more chemistry to understand your reference to anhydrous copper sulphate. Isn't that blue?
    This image is totally cold and dismal. You have written with great economy. I hope you feel better soon.
