Quiet
don’t speak,
for it’s not that I wish my women silent
rather if you speak then I will be overwhelmed
overwhelmed by your exquisite beauty
and the tenderness of your voice
Both embracing me as one.
For the first time that we meet
I wish to be able to see you
take in all that I can see with the eye.
The gentle curves that your body makes
the starlight within your eyes
your innocence when you sleep
and the softness of your hair.
After this I shall be blindfolded
As to be able to hear your voice of pure beauty
how soft it is when you speak
and the way in which your caress
each spoken word with your tongue
in a way the eye could never see
but can be never hidden from the blinded ear.
Then I shall see you, hear you
listen to you speak those gentle words
and see your lips speak them.
For now I am able to embrace both as one
with being only slightly overwhelmed
For I have never seen nor heard such beauty in my life
and to hear them come together
would be cause of the most glorious moment
of my life.

This is absolutely great! I don't think I'm quite drooling, but I really do love this one. I would have liked another background because I get more drawn into a poem online by background. Anyway, it was great. Is this about someone? If so she is probably the luckiest girl ever. I have never heard anything this sweet, even from Shakespeare himself. I like this piece so I must and have an urge to go check your other poems.

well, youhave really made all the girls drool over this one, myself included. It's a very romantic poem, confessing something that people only feel when they're with someone that entrances their whole being. It was a wonderful poem.

Well every once in a while I decide to click on an authors mainpage look around and check out a poem (just randomly) and though its rare I do that its even rarer(if thats even a word) that I come across a poem so well written and filled with emotion. Whats even more rare (if its possible by now) is the ability of words to make me speechless but the words in this poem have, the way you expressed everything seemed so right. I do like this very much so.
But like I said its rare and Im very glad I came across this one.. I will be adding you to my favorites.
