Seduced (#2)

You spilled dreams
on my mind
again
like crystal marbles
sparkling in the
shadows.
You laid a spell
on me
with a simple touch
of your bloody
silken lips.
You stretched out
a hand,
imagining I would
come, thinking
I would obey.
You never dreamed
I could see
through your thick weaved
web of twilight caresses
and lies.
You thought
I would fall
for the simple trick
of the poor stolen
fang-faced
body.
The fact I would
notice the ashen- black
wings
behind the bloody
teeth
you couldn't have
guessed.
You weren't able
to foretell
my magic could
break through
your glamour,
that I could
keep sane
even with your
alabaster fingers
brushing my
skin,
that I could
resist the
temptation
of your
god- like
body.
You never saw
a challenge
in me;
for you I was
nothing but
a common witch
who never stood
a chance
against your
emerald gaze
in which so many
have been lost
forever.
You never dared
to hope
I could
not fall in love
with the vampire shell
whose body you took,
but to love
the thing
inside-
a demon,
once so high
a creature-
in my eyes
you still are an
angel.
And as I burn,
my breath becoming
ragged,
I am dying,
I scream
one of your thousand
names,
and ask:
Who seduced
whom,
in the end?

Author notes

it's not a vampire and a demon, but a witch and a fallen angel, I hope this works as well
sorry for the no quote, but it's pretty late and don't have any time to go look for it, hope you'll forgive me

Whoa what a piece. I was mesmerized. I'm glad that it was a witch and a fallen angel. What a combination. Something different for a change. The imagery was breathtaking and I was on the edge of my seat as I read it. This was really, awesome.
