My Hearts Goodbyes
The fighting is over. There are no more tears.
Hope has been exhausted and gone are all my fears.
Years of trying to change things, battles never won.
I have resigned myself to failure.The healing has begun.
Prayers that went unanswered. Promises unfulfilled
Love that once burned brightly now in ashes stilled.
Emotion dry form absents, truths exposed as lies.
I won’t look back on our love.My heart says it goodbyes.
