Sitting alone at the bar, staring into my drink
My phone rests peacefully on my leg
Occasionally I look down
Maybe I missed the vibration
But sadly, no call, no message
No contact from you
No word since you switched off many hours ago
And here I am, drowning my sorrows
Because you switched off from me
Okay, maybe you didn't
But it sure feels like that to me
I feel alone, though surrounded by people
I feel unhappy, though surrounded by laughter
I feel pained, though drinking to become numb
All because of your phone and my phone
My heart is with yours
But there's a missing link
Your phone

*sigh* Being sad because Michael switched his phone off during a text argument.

I'm glad you don't have to deal with that kind of thing anymore. Confidence is a wonderful thing to have, and I know you have it now.

Hope all worked out. Good luck in the contest.

I'll reply to your email asap. In the meantime, this definetly makes me realize all the more how you feel because of him switching off the phone. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I haven't had the net since last Friday (almost a week!! AGH!)
