flowing with the wind
collapses in grateful mingling of molecules,
quarks caressing with mutual information exchange:
shining light of data-commerce, detected
by the eye of the macromaterial being
as a simple painting --
mixed media, rainfall and light
-- a radiation golden bright;
signature of the sun.
Author notes
Because Lion-Serpent insists: "Mixed media" is the plural form of the term 'medium', used in art to indicate how the art was created and with what; for example, a painting in the medium of oils, or a drawing/collage using the mixed media of watercolor pencils, art markers, magazine cut-outs, and metallic gold and silver inks.
This clarification is apparently necessary because in the original version of the poem he somehow connected the term "media" with the phrase "data-commerce" above and thought I was talking about the news/entertainment media. Which is very much -not- what I had in mind.
I thought the word 'painting' was enough of a cue, especially after the addition of the word 'mixed', but he insisted I ought to have an Author's Note for people who've never taken an art class. So here it is. I think better of AllPoetry's general level of education than he does, I suppose. Or maybe it's just because I think the poem ought not to need any notes, as much as possible. Who knows?
In any event, this began as a freewrite, and then was reviewed and edited with concrit from my IRL partner M (username Lion-Serpent here.)
I still disagree with him that it needs to be broken into stanzas, tho'. To hell with that.

I do not believe that this needs to be broken into stanzas-
I believe the chaos of it all sort of pushes it together-
I mean-painting mostly consists of organized chaos
especially when you have a time limit:/
