With Each Sunrise

Missing image
Ascended to Heaven an unborn child,
to live all eternity with Christ Jesus.
Left the warmth of its mothers womb,
without entering this sinful world.

Its tender heart just ceased to beat,
then its soul took celestial flight.
Held close to the heart of a loving angel,
its life in the flesh was not meant to be.

It breaks our hearts to say good-bye,
to another precious little child.
Though we know God is in control,
it's always hard to accept and move on.

Our faith will grow stronger with each sunrise,
and we will praise God both morning and night.
It will take lots of prayer and time with the Lord,
before the pain eases and fades away.

Author notes

My sisters baby, though still in her womb, is in Heaven.
She will have the procedure in the next day or two. I will change the poem when I find out the sex of the precious infant. It has gone on to be with Cayla...she always wanted a little brother....but a little sister will be just fine...
Thank you for all your prayers.

I'm awfully AWFULLY sorry for this loss. Oh, my! I can only imagine!
You've given credence and placement to rest our thoughts to a being that had a part in all our lives which didn't fit the norm, but will change us all in a good way. Thank you!! Warmly, CookieZeal

    sentimental

it is always hard to know what to say at times like these without sounding so cliched and redundant.i truly do wish you and your sister well through your trying times.God never breaks promises and your continued faith and trust in Him will provide you and the family what you need to get through this.as usual the heart of you is there to start the healing process.dealing with this tragedy would be a lot worst if your sister didn't have you there to help comfort her.cayla needed someone there for her,so as hard as it is for your sister, just think what a lovely thing she did for cayla.now they have wach other to love.

This is a lovely poem although heartbreaking. I am so very sorry for your family's loss and yes in time the pain will ease, but this special little baby will never be forgotten. I will be praying for you guys at each sunrise and sunset that you will get stronger and stronger through this trying time.
