Moonlight shines in your eyes
Offering a glimpse of the skies.
Opals of dark black irises my love
Natural they look my turtle dove.
Lighting up my life in such a way
Illuminating glow that shines this day.
Glimpses of heaven can be seen
Healing powers
They have, oh see how they gleam.
Isn't it grand to see them shine
Nice to see that they are mine.
You are the light shining in my eyes
Offering the stars, the moon, the skies.
Unconditionally I give myself to you
Radiance of love from you so true.
Ever true, ever faithful, ever shy
You taught me to reach for the sky.
Expressing our feelings at every chance
Sealing our love with just one glance.

Ah lovely, sweet and I loved your word usage in this. I thought it made this poem seem mature and wonderful. The flowing was just beautiful...as an acrostic, it was easily readible.
