I waited for the point in time, where things would stop hurting
I waited for that moment in my biography where I could live
Where I could feel good things like love, and friendship Without
Being destroyed inside.
I waited, I analyzed my time-line as a scientist... a statistician
I waited to see if I could reclaim that which was lost to me,
Those pieces that had been torn from me, and which I had given
Without knowing the consequences.
But those parts of me that I would freely distribute to the masses
Never returned to me. I waited and waited, but the day never came...
And love will always feel like knives and hand granades...
Author notes
Phrase: The day never came
