Tomorrow Will Never Come

In the shell of my heart I weep.
Tomorrow promised mending of my memories of you.
As sorrow bestows heavy winter in my veins, I console tears.
They fall down my face in uneven streaks; unnecessary particles of pain.
All I asked for was your love.
It washed all hope away.
The blood tides rise and fall relentlessly.
Why have you forsaken me, dear heart?
What have I done to be made into a distant memory?
But now I realize tomorrow will never come.
It has died long ago with happiness.

*weeps for you* I know this pain all too well and it touches me because well...too long to explain but hell is the pain that bestows itself upon our hearts in realization that love is a double edged sword. *comforts you*

I want to see my angel....they won't let me see him and they won't allow him to see me..is life fair? NO! So not fair...but life never promised us anything of the such. I am foolish to believe so much hope exists in such a shit place.

I love it! "Why have you forsaken me, dear heart?" That line speaks so much. For this poem you will never be a distant memory to me.

    amazing

Something we all feel; it was deep. But the way you've worded it, completely admirable. So many metaphors drawing a connection with what you're trying to portray. Beautiful.

Really love your poem. I love the two last lines. "But now I realize tomorrow will never come.
It has died long ago with happiness. " Keep on writing. Love and Peace!
