My Fairy Mom

A fairy necklace
laced in silver paint tip
crossed over my bare neck
makes me wanna write in a swirl dip

My mother gave it to me
one summer day
she said it matched me well
in every pretty way

So every time I wear it
it inspires me to feel
when I write my thoughts
I trace my fingers along, I know its real

So you ask
what inspires me?
its my mom, you see
she believes in everything I want to be

Although I love my necklace
I wear it for her endlessly
its my mom who loves me
I know it, truthfully

Author notes

I love my Mom so much
