Prophets and Kings , Devil s and Evikdoers !

  Prophets and Kings, Devil’s
And Evildoers:

W. Peter Sanci Nov. 22 / 2009

My dear friend’s, I have been wondering lately, why God all throughout time, why He chooses the not so
best people to become his “ Prophet’s and “ Kings”
and generally, His favourite people.
And then it suddenly came to me, he picked people that were kind of ruff around the edge’s but they could get the job He had for them done, and they would pick people like themselves who could get the job done, without whining and complaining.
One of the first “Leader’s with great faith that God chose was “ Abram.” Who before God called him, was nothing but a slightly well off sheep man.
When God called him, his name was “Abram,” mean
“ exalted father !”
When God calls you, you better be ready to change
you’re life !
That’s the first requirement of being “ A Prophet or a “King.”

Pg. 2

You have to be willing to change. If not, then just stay home and pull those covers back over you’re
head, my friend.
Back to Abram, as well as having to change you’re name, God requires some form of commitment from
you.
Like a contract, only God called it a “Covenant!”
You would have to do something “Outstanding”
so that God would know that you were really ready to take on His special mission.
God had an awfully hard mission for
Abram. He was to take him up to the top of Mt. Siani and offer him up as a sacrifice to God.
Then and only then would God be satisfied that Abram would be ready for the task.
So early one morning before everyone in the camp awoke, he took his youngest son, ( his favourite.)
( That was Abram’s test !)
They went up to the top of the mountain, and Abram,
bound his son up and put him on the altar.
“ Father !” his son cried out.

Pg. 3

But he had his eyes closed as he lifted his knife, tears streaming down his cheeks.
Then, suddenly he heard an angel’s voice,
“Abraham, stop, you have proved yourself to God.
Take this lamb and offer it up instead.
So after they sacrificed the lamb they both walked happily home.
Did you notice when the angel spoke to him, he called him, “Abraham,” which means “ Father of many nations.” A slight difference, butt a change for the better. Now he was ready to do God’s work.
You see my friend’s why God chose ABRAHAM, because he was ready to offer his only son, ( The way that God offered Jesus to us !)
Now I suppose I tell you what that mission was ?
God wanted him to take his family, all of their animals, and go to the “ Land of Caan, where they would officially become “ God’s Chosen People !”
So you see why God had to choose people he thought would get the job done.
There is a lot more to the story if you are interested
Just go to the Book of Genesis: Abram !
