not bad at all
short and to the point - i had a coyote in my back yard eyeing up the chickens - lol - be of good cheer - Joe - dobar dan - ----------------------------------- peace

I dunno. Maybe it's because I'm an English London girl and I'm struggling with the references:-) Cougar, mountain shelf and coyotes? I apologise for my ignorance!!

Thanks, it's OK. I had fun trying to make this image into a haiku, but was not satisfied myself. I never saw anything like it before. Coyotes don't normally prey on cougars and vice-versa.

This one is just nearly there but it's slightly too vague I feel.

I agree; any ideas? I'm thinking it was a moment that I can't capture with haiku. (It was actually 20 minutes and I had to leave, but the coyotes, being only two, couldn't do anything).
