Into my mind I fall
Falling, falling into the catacombs of what I have lost
Falling into the shadows of what I cannot remember
I am forced to look for what I cannot remember, for what I have lost.
Running, running; I am searching for myself
I cannot remember where I come from, or who I am.
In the catacombs; I hope to regain.
Lost…
I am lost with the depths of catacombs
Running swiftly… looking… searching…
what I am searching for?
Within the catacombs one can end two ways
One is to get lost, that is the easiest way
The other is for that person to find what they are looking for
Within the catacombs I am scared
Within my mind I am scared
I find myself, but I lose myself.
Surrounded by crystals I find what I was looking for
I find myself… I look amazed at what I see
I see an animal begging to get out
Wanting to live, wanting to set free.
Within the catacombs one could be lost, or one could be found
But to set free what one finds means to lose one’s self
Within the catacombs no one wishes to end up..
Author notes
this poem i wrote as a form of an outlet to what i felt i was doing in my life. searching and pondering i see is one of the hardess things a person can do in their life, and i feel that this poem catches the essence of that...
