Relishing the new addition
To my little family
Everyone smiling so proudly

I still can't believe how lucky I am to have a

My acrostic for the number 13, My son and myself were both born on June 13th, (him on a friday) and he weighed 6/13 (that was one heck of a day) and then also I turned 13 on a friday the 13th.... so yeah, i love that number

^^^^ your 13 years old giving birth? Gosh I hope you were actually talking about your son turning 13 on Friday the 13th. ....
as for the overall write, I couldn't agree more. I was born May 13th on Mother's Day... and if thats not enough I have a twin brother. .... My mom, was big on the holidays.... she also gave my father a son on Father's day. He was the 1st born... of the bunch... there are 7 of us total.
Still hope your not 13 having babies.... much too young. Thanks for entering my contest pleasure having you. -

lol, no no, I had my son when I was 24... I was just saying that when I did turn thirteen, it happened to have fallen on fri the thirteenth. Thank you so much for the honorable mention

Congratulations on your good luck! Thirteen is much maligned, but it never did me any harm either. I enjoyed this poem, and it brought back memories of my own son (3030 grams). -
thirteen is an awesome number and I dont understand why everyones so scared of it. I could probably take a few guesses though..
But I think that thirteen can be a really lucky number. Really nice acrosstic, I can see why it won! I didnt even realize it was an acrosstic till the end (thats good, it means it flowed really nicely!) lol. Thanks for sharing.

Wow both on the same day...WEll I have a bond with the number 13 too..My baby nephew was supposed to be born with health problems and he was taken my C-section on the 13th of October..Which was a Friday...This little miracle boy came out perfect..he was fine and is now 1 1/2 and growing nicely.. So I can see why you love the number 13...It' s very nice number..lol But, back to the poem...LOL It was lovely and you already know that I love reading your work and that I love the way that you show so much emotion for your tiny son...Who is pretty good himself..I should add..LOL Keep up the lovely writes and the bestest of best to you and Jer....
