I opened my box of cereal and much to my surprise,
the coolest of freebie dolls was staring into my eyes.
It was even labeled, underneath it's dress,
made in Republic of Poetry Land, I was really impressed!
Little book of instructions, included with my toy,
was, upon examination, another cause for joy!
For this wasn't just any doll, no, this was a Magic Muse,
one that you could, cuddle, nurture or abuse.
I keep her on my computer, guardian of my "pen",
she promises inspiration, such a dark comedienne!

What I wouldn't give for a free magic muse. Very pleasurable entry.
Thankyou.

this is just so darn cute! it is just so very adorable! i love it! we should all have little muses like that. it would be so great to just find our muse hidden in a box of cereal. usually we find our muse in little places of the beauty of nature. i thought it was a lovely breath of fresh air on the different approach on where to find another muse. this piece really made me smile and made my day not so gloomy. i'm so very glad that i came across this beautiful and funny piece of yours. also glad that i added you as a favorite. looks like i made a good move.

I like it! Short, expressive, a great fit for the prompt! Love the reference to Republic of Poetry Land--I don't think their gross national product is too high though!

Thanks..lol
I did that as a tribute to Gaylene...aka "Alice in Poetry Land"..
She is co-judging...and BN our other host, once penned something for me in somewhat the same way..
Thanks for commenting!
Best wishes always!
