love is Supposed to cling like sugar
on strawberries. sweet and
bone-chilling. Supposed to
screech with the direct intensity
of shattering ice. or the wraparound
wind, or a death. love was
Supposed to solve us
but the problem was
we were alive.

oh, what an awesome metaphor with the sugar covered strawberries - bone-chilling...not usually associated with a delicious desert and i think that's what makes it awesome. i love the title and the intentional capitalization of the word Supposed. brief, intriguing and unique take on the prompt.
