Life Is Eternal

Missing image
The time between birth and death,
enjoyed by us with every breath.
Matters not the length we are given,
when to eternity the soul is driven.

This moment in time spent on earth,
be happy, thankful for all it is worth.
Life is eternal and it shall only begin,
by opening your heart, letting God in.

Yes life can be sad and rather cruel,
sometimes loved  or played the fool.
We find strength in life's adversities,
accept we must, what will be will be.

Yes with hope, faith, determination,
rejoice in and learn self assertion.
All is possible with God by our side,
He died for us, as He was crucified

No mountain shall be too high a peak,
mightiest river can become a creek.
Dream the impossible and daily pray,
for God creates miracles everyday.

Awesome, your words say it all, there is no mountain to high if we walk with him we can overcome. He doesn't promise us a easy walk but he does promise up comfort along our journey. this is a very moving write that draws from the love of your beautiful heart.

love the traditional form of this poem. It works so well with it. I find it so difficult to write with rhyme and still write something compelling. awesome job.
