Broken Hope

I beg and plead with you
Please don't leave me
I need you by my side

I ask and cry for you
Please don't abandon me
I want you to be here

I try again and again
Please don't go back
I must have you stay

I try one last time
I ask, demand, plead
And still, you don't stay

I needed you
I wanted you
I had allowed to hope

You are still gone

Another one that needs some work but, hopefully not too much.

This is part of a collection of poems that mean a lot to me. Some of them are fictional renderings that I came up with and others are just about the emotions that's I've gone through with the one person who inspired them all.
