Thank you, B J! You managed to find one of the few I didn't enter in Leander's 'Haiku-o-Matic' contest, lol
Those ones I thought were better than this.

I loved the image of a window as a frame to nature's sight! It is indeed a living art, there is no painter that can beat natures work.
a lovely haiku, a very pleasant read! Thanks!

Thank you for reading it, Zandorwolfe... and yes you most certainly did it justice if you could see and feel what you say! You as the reader are a participant in the suggestive content. Haiku has been described as "an open door that looks shut". Yes, they are difficult to fathom, but (for the writer) a wonderful exercise in "egoless reticence" to try to capture a keenly perceived moment in nature that has a suggestive, deeper meaning, linked to human nature. The basic sense is to "show, don't tell"...i.e. no overt descriptions, or adjectives that try to tell the reader how or what to see. They are a paradox of profound, yet elegant simplicity (when done well). They take a lot of practice, while waiting for a mini-revelation of insight. Then... trying to present the picture objectively....Now I've probably made that as clear as mud LOL!! I do appreciate your interest

I am not sure what i can say,,that wouldnt be repetitious.
haikus are a form I would really love to learn,,one day intend to in fact,,,this imagery is incredible,,I can see the window so clearly, there is a sense of calm,,,,,,a beauty in subtly,, simple imbrace of bliss,,,,I hope that I do it justice,,,RW
