I have better things to do in my head on a monday evening

& i can think in double speed
when it comes down to working out the equations
of life, love plus or minus einstein's theory

all is relative in space
and what of time you ask
with that cheerful face
that never wants from me
only that of a smile and word or two of love and laughter

maybe if it all slows down & the skies billow a few grey clouds
to dust ball my eyes and shadow dance
into the night

quiet, quiet please
are the few syntax uttered under spell
out loud to the day

like the willow bends
tears sometimes fall, but not for sadness
but for the will of knowing something is right
what a deep well we all carry

indeed, we collect the sum totals of elation
duration and make love
not war

I tried to pick this apart and say this & that about it...because I didn't want to be that guy...but I am. "Beautiful!"

i love every word of this poem, gilly! yes, we collect and gather and cleanse, and then collect again - just like the willow you wrote about. and when you touch someone the way you've touched me, also with this poem, then you're always a winner, always richer...

yebo gogo... i understand this one.
    beautiful
