When Does The Pain Stop

Stop turning the knife
in my heart, guilt twisting so hard.

I feel the breath
leaving my body, my soul seems to fly.

Blood flows like water,
raging like a river to hell so absolute.

My eyes close
for the coldest of winters witnessed.

Now with but a kiss
can you deter me from death's door.

Embrace my heart
as it bleeds with disdain for life.

Love, sweet love
stops the pain, curbs the ache.

Shall I pass
into the great beyond of blackness.

Accept me for my faults,
for they are many of the shattered stars.

Writhe with me in passion,
the pain will cease when I kiss you.

Let the carousel stop,
or so shall my heart, breathing no longer.
