A gentle breeze
catches the pages
faltering under the weight
before falling on an empty canvas
a possibility, an opening
Once gentle breeze
full of promise
slowly gathering speed
threatening to turn the page
mid sentence
A strawberry flavoured dream
melting on the page
to soon the season begins to change
fading to a shadow of itself
left alone to battle through harsher times
And yet sorrow passes – though slowly it may seem
it passes and spring returns once more
and though this cycle may continue for many seasons
many chapters may yet be written
but there will always be a final chapter.
