Beautiful Nightmare

What a sweet disguise,
that smile of yours.
What a delectable delivery of words,

A fools trap.

I fell hard,
into an impeccable net of lies,
one that was woven out of tantalizing silk.
When your blind, it's hard to escape
a perfectly bound snare.
Is it my fault that I slipped
into your insidious scheme?

I think you pushed me.

But I have finally awaken
from this infatuate nightmare.

It is over!

And just like a nightmare...
you are easily forgotten.

I really like this piece. It's somewhat similar to some of the poems which I have previously written so I can pretty much relate to this one. I've to agree with jordan than it is indeed easy to follow. The piece draws its beauty from its simplicity. I like how the poem started.
    My favorite part:
    I fell hard,
into an impeccable net of lies,
one that was woven out of tantalizing silk.

    Nice write.
    Keep the ink flowing =]
