Can't help but wonder why you always fight
Whenever you leave and I beg you to stay

Hearing the same words makes it hard to believe
You say you are doing this to help you and me
Been waiting so long not sure that's how it will be
Your broken promises break my heart again
You were supposed to be my best friend
Flowers and presents won't gain trust back
Just makes me feel like you will always slack

Now the time is near when you may go away
Am I supposed to wait forever and stay?
Or when you get out will you desert me too
