Miranda-Jo

You could never picture Miranda-Jo,
Crying, swaying to and fro.
Tears slowly descending down the road
Of her porcelain white face.
Curled up in a ball full of disgrace.
But no that wasn't it, that wasn't right
Miranda-Jo was full of fright
Her father leaving her only one day ago
Her not feeling what she should show
Shocked and scared unsure and beware
Those were the emotions she cared
Nurturing these feelings until they were ripe
Miranda-Jo didn't seem like the type
To think these  horrible things it wasn't right
But people could only see with their sight
If only they would've looked a little deeper
If only they would've become more aware
Then maybe Miranda-Jo would still be there...

Author notes

I chose number one, I wrote about my personal experience trying to deal with a loved ones death, and how the thought of this person never being there to comfort me scared me to death. The thought of loosing this one person whom I thought I could tell anything to, whom i thought i could tell if something was wrong. But sometimes i guess just knowing isn't good enough...
