Times Up?!?!?!?!

Missing image
What?

What do you mean
the world is coming
to an END?

How could this have happen,
and
where have I been
all of these hundred years
or more?

Well, I guess
this is what happens
when one misses
out on very important messages.

Guess I must have been
well you know
having yet another talk with death.

Yeah, that must have been it.

For you see, he and I talk all the time,
about this and that,
and every now again
how if the world came  to an end,
how  he would be out a job.

Yes, yes, I know.. but you see,
he ended up laughing
right along with me.

Told me that the world would
never end, so he would never
be with out a job.

Seems we were both wrong,
yet, in a way we are both right.

For the would will never end,
it will just fade into the sunset.....

REALLY.. for when the sun goes out

MANKIND is sunk......

brr... it will be kinda cold then.

So hell might be a better place to keep warm,
though.. I think I will just keep on living
as if I did not know any of this right now
if you do not mind...

Have fun one and all,
and please come back again,
before we all have
time to just vanish...

This is great, I loved how it seemed as though we were having a conversation. Great write! I wrote a poem about an encounter with death also that I think you would like.

The picture of the fantasy angel with a sword is just magnificent and thank you for the lovely poem. I assume the angel is the angel of death? I have never seen death look so grand.
