Like the sky before a rainfall drenches,
When the clouds will gather there.
Like a storm about to happen ,
Up in the atmosphere .
Such a time is when this fairy ,
Gathers dreams and memories .
Gathers smiles and so sad feelings,
To hang upon her fairy tree .
So blue a fairy always lingers ,
On the upper ends of clouds,
She lies within their golden twinkle ,
And she loves the thunder loud .
So blue a fairy writes her own songs ,
Full of joy and longing too .
Tears may fall upon the paper ,
Still she writes a song so blue .
Midnight drear you'll find her sitting ,
In a city park at night ,
Because it's when the light is navy ,
She often gets her heart just right .
Slip away blue fairy princess ,
Leaving nothing in your trail ,
Only maybe strange sweet music ,
And a wispy pale blue veil....
