I know they say
our love has to be impossible,
but baby I don’t care,
you’re the most beautiful creation
that I’ve even known,
a goddess whose bark
so drives me wild.
With me you’ll be safe
from the dog catcher
and those pit bull bullies,
for I will make sure
we have our own heaven,
thanks to my career
working for that organ grinder.
Now close your eyes,
dream of Alpo and bones,
tonight will make some magic,
it will all be a paradise
of chew toys and bananas.
