Psychological Warfare

Gnawing persistence
while teeth too tiny
Gnash invisible chunks

inflaming my vanity,
cracking mirror's center...

neon-lights against skin,
untanned cones appear

like cow's tail midst hay,
I swing like gavel...

knocking pest away.

Interesting perspective! I love the imagery and the pacing flows very nicely. I also like the fact that the only rhyming lines are 8 and 10...it connects the last line with the rest of the poem while not being overbearing.

    good luck in the contest!
