Constantly poised, for she wraps me in tranquillity,
she is peace of mind, for now they are surrounded in calm stillness,
the angel of serenity, knelt before,
as I laid the flowers upon the floor,
no lord above, or heavenly gate, just a stone,
engraved the name.
What am I? The angel of serenity,
for I am the wings, which helped those fly safe,
what am I? Serenity is my name,
for I am not crying, that is how I pray.
Composed with affection, silently singing,
for she is my memory, of all the times,
the angel of serenity, who once,
would dance enthrallingly,
across the ballroom floor, in her flowing dress,
now laid to rest,
What am I? An angel to represent,
for I am a symbol, the loss of your best friend,
what am I? But a keep sake upon the skin,
for I am not sad, I am happy to have been.

Beautiful and sad all in one. A wonderful poem that truly does touch the heart. Excellent job.

I'm impressed
I love it, the passion I was talking about? All there. The rhyme you threw in along with the repeated question "who am i?" a perfect mix. GL.
