flows throughout
the gentle streams
of her fluent gestures
as she conjures incantations
of enchantment with the
swaying of her magical
fingertips
suspended as if in
a motionless world of
swirling elegance,
executing perfect pirouettes
levitating her fragile frame,
on the round of a single toe,
balanced in majestic
glory
captivating an audience of intrigue,
by her mesmerizing agility,
in this mysterious realm
of balletic artistry

write about a hand gesture you saw a stranger use.
I concentrated on the skillful elegance of
the human body and how certain people like
a ballerina can hold an audience captive.
Using something as simple as flowing gestures
of the fingers and hands. Or the incredible
ability of the feet. which can be transformed
from a domestic use to something as thrilling as ballet.
