where well-soaked sailors gather
Davy Jones’ Locker

Congratulations on the bronze!

Blimey, but this is a good one! You have described the afterlife of the mortal ones who lived that life very well. Thank you so much for your pirate-ku.

Great Haiku!
I love this.
a garden of weeds
where well-soaked sailors gather-
I'm trying to imagine the sailors all drunk in a weeded area- maybe a cemetary??
then Your Ah ha! moment!
Davy Jones’ Locker-
And I am picturing the clean. soaked bones among seaweed.
And I like how you used a phrase and a fragment.
Good luck in this contest.
