I journeyed through the forest of my mind
and came upon the deepest well of love.
It’s there I found the goddess of mankind,
an angel that was sent from up above.
She spoke to me yet uttered not a word,
her silence broken solely by her smile.
She whispered things that I had never heard
and said that she would stay with me awhile.
She kept her word and fought the dragons fire,
and gives us more than mortal souls can bear.
She writes the verses that we all desire
the answer to this humble poets prayer.
This poem is meant to honor my old friend,
It’s Passion’s poems on which we all depend.
